The presentation of the book «I absolutely do not plead guilty!» will be held

On December 26, 2019 at 11.00 o`clock in the hall named after N. Dauletova of the National library of RK the presentation of the book «I absolutely do not plead guilty!» from the history of the protest movement in Kazakhstan, 1960s and 1980s which, based on archival materials, was compiled by a famous scientist, Koigeldiev Mambet Kulzhabaevich, will be held.

The book presents for the first time the documents of the Department for supervision of the investigation in the state security bodies of the Prosecutor`s Office of the USSR which were tabooed and kept under the stamp «Top secret». Meanwhile, resistance to the social policy of power, especially national policy, has not ceased throughout the history of the existence of the Union. The book also features interviews with participants and witnesses of the protest movement in the 1960s and 1980s of the last century.

The event will be attended by well-known public figures, historians, teachers of universities and secondary schools, undergraduates, doctoral students and representatives of the media.
