Advisory Council on the Educational Program «Pedagogy and psychology»

On November 29, 2024, an advisory council on the educational program «6b01101 - Pedagogy and Psychology» was organized at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities. This council is an important event aimed at developing the fields of pedagogy and psychology, ensuring their compliance with modern requirements. During the meeting, topical issues of improving the educational program, updating its structural content and ensuring compliance with international standards were considered.

In this regard, specialists and university professors took part in this event on the part of the employer. In particular, the senior coach for the reception of children in the Kazakh language of the funds «Positive», «Ana uyi» in Almaty, Abildaeva Ainur, teacher-psychologist of the specialized lyceum named after al-Farabi of the Karasai district of the Almaty region, expert Mukazhanova Aigul, deputy director for academic affairs of the «Ozat» school, senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy KazNU named after al-Farabi, PhD Yesenova Kamshat, as well as professors and teachers of KazNU named after al-Farabi and KazNPU named after Abai.

In order to exchange experience at Abai KazNPU, Gulmira Nietbaeva, Acting Associate Professor of Abai KazNPU, Head of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, was invited as a member of the advisory council.

The participants discussed topical issues of the current state of pedagogy and psychology, considered issues of psychological diagnosis, prevention, correction, development, and paid special attention to the disciplines of the educational program. Recommendations are also given on the need to implement the best international practices for the qualitative improvement of the content of the educational program.
