At the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, according to the research plan of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, a guest interactive lecture was held with an invited specialist

On November 28 at 12:00, at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, according to the research work plan of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, a guest interactive lecture was held with an invited specialist, Master of Psychology and a 2001 graduate of our faculty, Larisa Sergeevna Sidorova, a practicing psychologist in the field of integrative psychotherapy, organizational psychology, and social projects. First- and second-year psychology students took part in the meeting.

During the event, issues of the real application of psychological professional competencies in modern Kazakhstan were discussed. Diagnostics, training, observation, prevention, and other foundations of a psychologist’s work with people who wish to become mentors for adolescents left without parental care were reviewed. Students asked questions about real cases of such activities, and the results showed that they gained a sufficiently realistic understanding of this professional field.
