Career guidance activities AT «Аlmaty humanitarian–pedagogical college №1» KSE

On December 2, 2025, a career counselor from the Department of General and Applied Psychology of Tussubekova Kunslu Kadyrkulovna, together with the Deputy Director for Academic and Production Work of «Almaty Humanitarian-Pedagogical College №1» KSE, Asubayeva Gaukhar Sarsenovna, held a career guidance meeting with graduating students of the college.

During the event, final-year students were presented with the following Educational Programs (EP) offered at all levels of study by the Department of General and Applied Psychology:

EP 6B03111 - Training of Practical Psychologists (Bachelor`s degree)

EP 7M03122 - Clinical Psychology with Fundamentals of Psychotherapy (Master`s degree)

EP 7M03118 - Health Psychology with Fundamentals of Psychotherapy (Master`s degree)

EP 8D03105 - Psychology (Doctoral program)

EP 8D03117 - Clinical and Social Psychology (Doctoral program)

Detailed information was also provided about the university`s training areas, study conditions, opportunities for participation in research activities, and prospects for professional development.

The Department`s career guidance work is aimed at fostering a conscious approach to career choice among students and familiarizing them with modern educational resources and the advantages of the university. College students showed great interest, actively participated in discussions, and asked questions about admission, specifics of the educational process, and possible career paths.

The event was held in an open dialogue format, allowing participants to receive comprehensive answers to relevant questions and to more confidently determine the direction of their future professional development.
