Our students are winners of the Republican Subject Olympiad

From 25 to 26 February, 2020, Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages organized the Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty «Foreign Languages».

It was attended by students and teachers of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation, Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of our university. Associate professor Kulsun Abdrakhmanova and Eleonora Kanseitova,master teacher Nurzhamal Kospaganbetova were on the jury in the specialty «Foreign Philology» - Arabic and Turkish languages.

Our students have once again proved their knowledge of a foreign language. In particular, in the section «Turkish language»

- 4th year student Samat Aida took 2nd place; Supervisor - Senior Lecturer Gulnaz Satbay;

- Arabic language - 2nd year students Sundetova Asemgul, Amantay Shugyly and Azimkhan Altynay took 3rd place; Supervisors associate professor Kulsun Abdrakhmanova, Eleanora Kanseyitova and Senior Lecturer Raya Orazova;

- German language - 4th year student Dana Agataeva took 2nd place; Supervisor - Senior Lecturer Kulzagi Ibragimova;

- English language - 2nd year student Diana Aisaeva, specialty «Translation Studies», awarded with an encouraging letter; Supervisor of Master Senior Lecturer Kulzagi Ibragimova.

Associate Professor of the University Kulsun Abdrakhmanova, as one of the best specialists in the Arabic language, received a letter of appreciation from S. Kunanbaeva, Rector of KazUIR and WL, Chairman of the Republican Subject Olympiad.

The head of the Chair, Ergali Yesbosynov, on behalf of the leadership of the institute and employees of the chair congratulated our students and their leaders on successful results in a prestigious competition of national importance.
