Defense of a doctoral dissertation in the specialty «Translation Studies»

On 25 January, 2022, Professor of Abai KazNPU A.K. Zhumabekova as a member of the dissertation council of al-Farabi KazNU took part in the procedure for defending a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty «6D020700-Translation Studies» of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Zhannura Manapbayeva on the topic «Adequacy of recreating the national realities of the novel by S. Elubay «Ak boz ui» in Russian and English translations.

A.K. Zhumabekova made questions to the applicant, and also participated in the final discussion.

Positive decision of the dissertation council of Al-Farabi KazNU on awarding a degree to the applicant will contribute to the expansion of the galaxy of Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty «6D020700-Translation Studies» at our university.
