Defense of a doctoral dissertation on problems of literary translation

On October 28, 2022, Aldabergenova Aiym Aldabergenovna defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty «6D020700 - Translation» on the topic «Functional and linguocultural aspects of the translation of the literature of the absurd (based on the translation of the novel by J. Heller «Catch-22»)».

A.K.Zhumabekova, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology of the Abai University acted as an official opponent.

The defense was successful, leading scientists of the country took part in the discussion.
