Applicant-2023: offline meeting "Profession - the way to the future"

On April 4, 2023 an offline-meeting with 11th form pupils of school named after Bolek Batyr of Akshi village of Enbekshikazakh district of Almaty region was held with participation of Director G.D. Dzhanpeisova within the framework of career guidance and implementation of Talapker-2023 project.

The event entitled "Profession is the first path to the future" was organized by the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology. The students were provided with general information about KazNPU named after Abay and detailed information on the specialties of the Department in the structure of the University, and for a wider introduction to the relevant presentations and videos.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation N.N. Konkabaeva and senior lecturers Zh.U. Sultanbaeva, Z.M. Elemesova, A.M. Almabekova, A.S. Zhumabaeva, who provided detailed information about the university and its specialties. Information on the position of the university in the world market and international relations increased the interest of the young guests. The organisers of the event gave ample answers to questions of schoolchildren, such as translation activities, oriental and foreign languages, general social benefits and possibilities to win the UNT grant. It was noted that there are graduates intending to study at Abai KazNPU, and career guidance is an important task, aimed at preparing the younger generation for the choice of their profession.
