The origins and evolution of business idioms were discussed, their correct translations from English into Russian were demonstrated, and key aspects of the structural analysis of idioms were outlined. Armine Eduardovna provided a classification of idioms based on the specific business contexts to which they relate.

She emphasised the importance of understanding these categories for identifying and subsequently using them in various professional contexts. The students showed keen interest and asked various questions on the topic. At the end of the lecture, they were asked to complete a short test on the material covered.
