Republic Day - the way of modernization of society

On October 24, 2022 the department «Geography and Ecology» of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU held a round table entitled «Day of the Republic - the path of modernizing society» with the participation of faculty members of the department and our colleague from the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan), Mr. Lutfullo.

The purpose of the round table was to discuss the importance of the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan on the path of spiritual revival, education of patriotism of students. The lecturers of the department: PhD Alaskarov D.T., associate professor Uvaliev T.O., associated professor Omarov K.M., professor Sarkytkan K., senior lecturer Abulgaziev A.U., postdocs Laiskhanov Sh, Usenov N.E., Professor Abdimanapov B.Sh., Deputy Director for Science and International Cooperation of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, Senior Lecturer Muzdybayeva K.K. and students of the Department participated in the discussion.

The Declaration on Sovereignty, which is the cornerstone of independence, is of high importance to any nation. They discussed the chronology of those events, the influence of political forces on independence, the problems of language in Kazakh society, multi-ethnicity and domestic politics. The guest spoke about how the situation went in his country.

It was noted that strengthening of sustainable development of Kazakhstan is the responsibility of all citizens united around the idea «Mangilik El». The future of the republic is in the hands of educated youth who have imbibed the national spirit.
