Abai University at the I International Scientific Conference «A new path to decarbonization of the economy (KZGT-2023)»

Abai University took part in the first International Scientific Conference «A new path to decarbonization of the economy (KZGT-2023)» held on November 8-10, 2023, at the Al-Farabi KazNU in Almaty.

Representatives of the spoke at the opening of the Conference: Tuimebayev Zhanseit - Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, Doctor of Philology, Professor; Akaev Askar - professor of MSU, Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Nigmatulin Robert - Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Director of Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of RAS; Hamid Fahmi Zarkasi - Rector, University of Darussalam Gontor Indonesia.

The head of the UNESCO Chair of Pedagogy and Teacher Training at Abai KazNPU Zh.T.Tilekova took part in the event on behalf of our university and made a report «Environmental norms of behavior and formation of social responsibility of students in the context of sustainable development».

Our university pays special attention to sustainable development, which is reflected in the approved policy in this area, as well as in the results of the international Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, in which it has been ranked No. 1 in Kazakhstan for two years in a row.
