Lecture «Akhmet Baitursynov - reformer of Kazakh script»

On November 17, 2022 at the department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S. Kirabayev, Institute of Philology for the 1st year students there was held a cognitive event, dedicated to one of the outstanding personalities in the history of Kazakh people - Akhmet Baitursynov, who made a great contribution to the development of his native country. His patriotism and humanism, the brilliant mind and deep knowledge had promoted him in a number of the most active people of his time, he was a poet, teacher and scientist, publicist and translator, public and statesman, a member of the government of Alash-Orda. About this and many other things first-year students learned during the lecture on a theme «Akhmet Baitursynov - the reformer of the Kazakh written language».

The event was attended by the director of the State institute of development of language sciences B.S.Kapalbek («The Great power of The great power of national spirit»), professor K.S.Kalybaeva «A.Baitursynuly - the reformer of the Kazakh writing»), associate professor E.M.Moldasanov («Language is a sign of humanity, one of the weapons used»). The themes of the speeches aroused great interest in the students, and all their questions were answered exhaustively.
