CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 125TH ANNIVERSARY OF S. SӘDUAQASOV

On November 28, the Department of Ancient and Medieval History of Kazakhstan at the Faculty of History and Law of Abai University held the international scientific-practical conference “Smaghul Säduaqasov: Time and Legacy”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the prominent statesman and public figure Smaghul Säduaqasov. The event brought together renowned historians and young researchers from Uzbekistan, Tatarstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of Abai KazNPU, Bolat Tilep, delivered the congratulatory message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

 In his message, the President noted:

“Smaghul Säduaqasuly is an outstanding son of our nation. During a challenging period, he honorably fulfilled important state duties and initiated many significant undertakings. He contributed to the opening of the first Kazakh drama theatre and to the development of the Kazakh Pedagogical Institute as a leading educational institution. Our nation will never forget his name.”
