Chess tournament will be held in honour of the Students` Day

On the occasion of the International Students` Day, the «Garde» chess club at the IMPhI is planning to hold a chess tournament among students in an online format from November 14 to November 18, 2020. The tournament will be played under the «Lichees online» program. The tournament will be held online due to the state of emergency in our country. This tournament is held with the aim of effectively spending leisure time of students at home due to the pandemic, as well as increasing the students` ability to think logically.

The tournament is organised and will be held by the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics. An award ceremony will also be held in the same mode. There is a good prize fund for the winners of the tournament.
