Name of the vacant position:

Deputy Director of the Department of Education, Social Work and Youth Policy

The main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

- plans the work of the Department in a timely manner (preparation of draft plans, project concepts, etc.);

- is responsible for the quality of organisation of annual, seasonal events;

- performs the work of cultural events at the level of the Company, aimed at improving the education and spiritual development of students;

- is responsible for the correct keeping of the documentation of the Department and ensures the timely delivery to the relevant authorities; 

- is responsible for the observance of the internal order and performance of the duties in the hostels. In case of any violations he/she submits a report to the relevant authorities;

- Work on the explanation and promotion of the main priorities of the annual Presidential Addresses to the people of Kazakhstan, etc;

- Creation of necessary conditions for education of patriotism, as a spiritual component of the personality of the citizen;

- Coordinates the activities of institutes, departments of the university for educational and social work in the following areas: cultural work, patriotic education, prevention of crime and extremism, the formation of healthy lifestyles, tolerance, ethnic harmony, etc;

- coordinates the work on the placement of students and undergraduates in dormitories;

- is responsible for the timely passing of the annual medical examination of students and undergraduates;

- organise summer holidays and recreational and cultural activities for socially vulnerable students;

- to work on finding talented students (singing, dancing, musical talents and leading skills) and conduct a set of activities with them all year round;

- Support the activity of creative students not only in the university, but also in their participation in festive events at city and republican levels;

- work on organising competitions and castings to identify talented students

- supports the policy of informing the management of the Company about potential or existing violations of anti-corruption policy, conflict of interest resolution policy and requirements of other internal regulations of the University on combating corruption.

Education:

higher professional education

Required professional experience (duration, field, other)

at least 3-5 years of experience in pedagogical and administrative positions

Professional Competencies:

Knowledge of the Constitution of the RK, Civil Code of the RK, basics of labour legislation, normative-legal acts, regulating activity of educational organizations, MS ISO 9001:2015

Personal competences and qualities:

- drafting of normative and other documents in the field of activity;

- organisation of work;

- systematic approach to problem solving;

- work with different sources of information;

- systematisation and preparation of information materials;

- conducting business negotiations;

- public speaking.

Knowledge of languages, including the national language (list of languages the candidate must be proficient in)

Proficiency in Kazakh and Russian languages is preferred.
