Important meeting in Paris

On 21 November 2018, the Rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbayev and Director of Continental Europe of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs Florence Manzhen met in Paris at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.

The Director for Continental Europe of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs Florence Manzhen received the delegation of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of Abai KazNPU, headed by Rector Takir Balykbayev, which also included University Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy in Kazakhstan Gilles Mametz and Director of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute Ainur Sabitova.

At the meeting, negotiations were held on the development and prospects of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute. Rector Takir Balykbayev spoke about the new stage of development of the Institute. Florence Manzhen noted the importance of this meeting and emphasized the positive dynamics that are taking place in the development of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute.

Florence Manzhen expressed gratitude to Takir Balykbayev for the development of Kazakh-French cooperation in the field of higher education and stressed that the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute will find full support from the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Promising projects to be carried out jointly were discussed during the negotiations.
