APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF A CANDIDATE TO A VACANT POSITION

 

Name of vacant position:

Leading expert of the Development Strategy Support Division of the Strategy Department

Main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

- Organisation of the process of development of the University Development Programme and the Action Plan for its implementation;

- Monitoring and analysis of the implementation of the University Development Programme and the Action Plan for its implementation;

- Preparation of final and interim reports on the implementation of the University Development Programme and the Action Plan for its implementation;

- Coordination of work on participation and promotion of the university in the world rankings of universities (institutional, subject, sustainable development, etc.).

Main job responsibilities:

- Participation in the organisation of the process of development of the University Development Programme and the Action Plan for its implementation;

- Participation in monitoring and analysis of the University Development Programme and the Action Plan for its implementation;

- Participation in the preparation of final and interim reports on the implementation of the University Development Programme and the Action Plan for its implementation;

- Participation in the organisation and holding of strategic sessions, activities for the development of strategic goals, elaboration of ways to achieve strategic goals and objectives;

- Participation in the information support of structural units on the University Development Programme and the Action Plan for its implementation;

- Participation in data collection for entering information into the databases of international ratings (QS, THE, etc.).

Travelling on business trips:

Readiness for business trips

Education:

- Possession of a Master`s degree.      

Required professional experience (duration, field, other)

At least three (3) years.

Professional competences:

- Ability to work with documentation;

- Ability to process and analyse textual and statistical information, draw conclusions;

- Ability to work in a team;

- Ability to express his/her thoughts orally and in writing clearly and competently;

- Ability to translate documents into other languages.

Personal competences and qualities:

Communicability, conscientiousness, active life position, stress resistance, creativity, organisational skills, punctuality, easy learning, neatness

Knowledge of languages, including the state language (list of languages the candidate should be proficient in)

Kazakh - fluently;

Russian - fluently;

English - fluently.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive/Docs/Meet, ZOOM, Prezi, Canva, working with Social Media, email.
