The teaching staff of the department makes extensive use of information and communication technologies in the learning process, the creation of various information products (texts, presentations, etc.) and multimedia technologies that meet the needs of the modern educational process.


The Department of World History works closely with foreign institutions of higher education. The faculty of the department participates in scientific lectures, seminars, courses conducted by foreign experts. Also publish scientific articles in publications of the near and far abroad.A course of lectures by leading foreign and domestic researchers of external scientific organizations.


Sefa Fuat Vejihi Hekimoglu, PhD doctor, associate professor at the University of Bitlis Yeren (Turkey) is a foreign consultant of the doctoral student of Abai KazNPU, G. Charchynov, who was invited by the department to give lectures on the theme of the History of the Ottoman Empire and the new methodology of studying the history of Turkey. December 15, 2016.


Ilyas Erpay, PhD doctor, professor at the University of Siirt, Turkey, is a foreign consultant of the doctoral student of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, A. Bektasov.


Also, the department invited Reinhard Hesse, PhD doctor, professor at Freiburg Pedagogical University to conduct a training seminar with students and teachers of the Institute of History and Law on the topic «Methodology for studying the history of Western Europe» from December 1 to 15, 2016.


RUFP (RF) Kozmenko V.M. Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Russian History 2018 April-May, conducted a training seminar on the topic «Actual problems of world history; new approaches to the study of the history of Russia».


Naushabaeva-Hekimoglu Assem Dr. PhD of the University of Bitlis Eren 2018. October 3-13, she held a scientific lecture on the topic «The role of journalism in state policy: the example of the newspaper «Ulfat» in Abai KazNPU.
