Pedagogical Practice Conference
On February 27, 2020, the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law held a conference on the results of pedagogical practice for students of the 3rd year of specialties «5В011400 - History», «5В011500 -Fundamentals of Law and Economics».
The conference was opened by the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Institute of History and Law, Dariya Asymova. She emphasized the special importance of teaching practice for students who, in real conditions, close to a future profession, gain new knowledge, useful skills and invaluable experience. Further, the floor was given to the head of the World History department, Yerkin Yermukanov, the responsible methodologist for the pedagogical practice at the institute, Professor Zhumakhan Nurmanbetkyzy and the head of pedagogical practice, senior lecturer Gulkyz Zhusanbaeva.
Mayra Kuanali, a senior lecturer at the Department of General and Applied Psychology at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, expressed her opinion on the final reports of teaching practice, outlining its important role in preparing future teachers. She wished the students new academic successes, encouraging them to continue to be equal to qualified and experienced specialists.
The floor was also given to 3rd-year student students Haumetova Gulsezim, Kudaibergenov Daniyar, Bainazar Aziz, Karimbaeva Umira. They told how they prepared and conducted classes with students, what difficulties they had to face during the practice, shared their experience in open and credited lessons. According to them, pedpractic gave them the opportunity to better know the work of the teacher and to show greater interest in the future profession. Students`presentations were accompanied by multimedia presentations.
Teachers of the Department of World History discussed all open classes of third-year students, expressed their opinions on their pedagogical practice and expressed great gratitude to school teachers and methodologists.
The results of the conference were summed up by Jumakhan Nurmanbetkyzy. She congratulated the students on the successful completion of the practice and wished them further pedagogical success in their future professional activities.
