Topical issues of history teaching at school were discussed

On March 3, 2022 the congress of teachers of history took place at the North Kazakhstan State University named after M. Kozybayev (Petropavlovsk). The theme was «History teaching at School: New Concept, Open Consciousness, Modern Perspective».

The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Science A.K. Aimagambetov, the President of the National Academy of Education named after I. Altynsarin G.B. Beisembayev, Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov of the National Academy of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Kabyldinov Z.E, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Gumilyov ENU E.B. Sydykov, methodologists of the Centre for Pedagogical Measurements of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and National Testing Centre RSE, as well as university lecturers, methodologists of secondary education. The participants discussed the necessity of creating a new concept of history teaching in the context of the updated content of education, methods of teaching the subject and directions of cooperation of pedagogical universities with schools in the formation of a new format of the historian profession.

Senior lecturers from the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU B.Z. Imanmoldayeva and K.M. Rustem also took part in the congress and shared their thoughts and ideas.
