True patriotism begins with love for the homeland

On March 16, 2022, senior lecturer of the World History Department of the Institute of History and Law A.S.Kenzhebekova and students of the 2nd year of specialty «6B01516-Geography-History» organized a platform for presentations «Tugan olkem, zhumak mekenim» within the framework of the «Rukhani Zhangyru» program.

The purpose - all-round acquaintance of each student with rich history of native places, which are a part of all Kazakhstan, to learn to conduct research work through study of local lore.

The students Soltangazina Ayaulym («Zhibek zholyndagy Bakty beketi»), Kizaybay Saltanat («Molykbai Shal Mataydagy...») and Zheken Akzhol («Aldiyar batyr») made their reports at a new platform. They shared little-known but very interesting information based on historical facts about the great personalities and history of their native land. During the event the conviction was expressed: «Not forgetting the past, we are making a step to a bright future» and an appeal to young people about love to the Motherland, respect to their people and work for the benefit of the whole country was made.

Teachers of the Department of World History M.Kasymov and D.Mamyrbayev also participated in the event and shared their views. They stressed that true patriotism begins with love for the homeland.
