Round table «Development of education in Kazakhstan in the XIX century»

On April 11, 2022 in the Decade of Science at Abay KazNPU, at the Institute of History and Law, lecturers of the Department of World History Dairabayeva A.E. and Shormanova A.K. held a round table on «The development of education in Kazakhstan in the XIX century».

During the event the report of Dairabaeva A.E. on system of religious education and how big influence was used by madrasah, on preparation of mullahs, teachers of mektebs, classes at mosques, terms of education and gender inequality were listened. Questions were raised about major Kazakh cultural figures A. Kunanbayev, S. Toraigyrov, M. Zhumabayev, B. Mailin and others who came from this system.

The students of 2-3 years took part in the round table, they thanked the lecturers for the interesting theme and presentation of the material. Ruslan Aitkuzhin, a 4th year student, made an interesting presentation during the event and shared his methods of teaching in secondary school. Overall, the round table was very interesting and informative.
