Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World - a Source of Spirituality

On April 11, 2022 the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law under the Ruhani Zhangyru program and «Decade of Science - 2022» held an international online conference on «Cultural Heritage of the Turkic world - the source of spirituality». The moderator of the conference was Professor Tulekova M.K.

The event was opened by the Director of the Institute of History and Law, Professor A. M. Junusov. The conference was attended by the faculty of the Institute, students, masters and doctoral students of universities of Almaty. At the conference presentations were made by students of famous foreign universities - a second year MA student of Ankara University Kuzenbaeva Ayim and a first year MA student of the Aegean University Emine Adzharsoy. In addition, the conference was attended and reported by students of the Eurasian Institute for the Humanities, a 2nd year student of the specialty «6B01601-History» of Kazakh National Women`s Teacher Training University, supervisor - senior lecturer S.S. Kaldybayeva, students of Gumarbek Daukeyev Almaty University of Energy and Communication, students of school-lyceum No. 169 of Alatau district of Almaty, journalism students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, doctoral students of KazNAI named after T.K. Zhurgenov, they also actively participated in the discussions and asked questions.

During the conference the cultural heritage of Turkic world was analyzed, the use of modern and future cultural heritage of renewed Kazakhstan in the sphere of education was discussed, the ways of transmission of the past and present of Turkic civilization to the future generations through its modernization, prospective goals and objectives. Young people expressed their opinions on how they imagine the Turkic world in the future.

As the conference was held in both online and offline formats, the two-way dialogue was very interesting, with questions answered and interactive methods used. At the end of the event, the organisers awarded letters of appreciation and certificates to the participants.
