Summary Meeting on Preventing Religious Extremism and Terrorism in Almaty

On December 10, 2024, Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of History and Law, Department of World History, Didar Mamyrbayev, participated in a congratulatory event dedicated to the members of the Almaty City Information and Awareness Group. The event recognized their contributions to implementing the state policy in the field of religion aimed at preventing religious extremism and terrorism.

During the closing meeting, the Head of the Almaty Department for Religious Affairs, N. Kikymov, expressed deep gratitude for the group`s active involvement in religious educational activities and efforts to maintain public peace throughout the year. He also voiced hope for continued participation in future initiatives to prevent extremism and terrorism in the city.
