Meeting of graduates of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sport

March 29, 2019, the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai held a meeting with graduates, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports. The Alumni Association and the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports organized the meeting.

The Alumni Association was created at the initiative of the rector Takir Balykbayev to establish mutually beneficial relations between the university and its graduates, to support events held at the university, as well as to promote personal education for modern students.

The event was attended by the rector Takir Balykbayev, Executive Director of the Association Bolatbek Nurbatyrov, director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, Tokkozha Kozhagulov, graduates of the Institute: Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, a member of the Kazakhstan Union of Artists Baitursyn Omirbekov, director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Berikzhan Almuhambetov, Kazakhstan designer, artist, stylist, head of the Kuralai fashion house, Executive director of the National Chamber of Fashion of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuralai Nurkadilova, President of the newspaper "Kazakh unі" poet Isa Kazybek, cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulmira Akurpekova and many other graduates.

The rector of our university, Takir Balykbaev, opened the meeting.

«The reason we gather you on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sport is, first of all, to be proud of our graduates and share our thoughts about the 50th anniversary. Meetings with graduates of our university, sports competitions, educational lectures and evenings are held on a regular basis. These events will certainly help our students to become more educated, to become a person and be proud of their school», said the Rector

Torkkozha Kozhagulov told about the ways of the institute from the date of its opening in 1969, the talented graduates of these years, about the close ties with its modern foreign countries and about its future tasks. After that, Tokkozha Mukazhanuly presented a media plan dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the institute. On the eve of this anniversary, the educational building of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports was repaired, its future presentation was presented, and recommendations and alumni responses about this plan were heard.

Also at the meeting, graduates of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, Baitursyn Omirbekov, Berikzhan Almukhambetov, Kuralay Nurkadilova, Isa Kazybek recalled exciting student years, and thanked the rector of the university Takir Balykbayev and the staff of the institute for a warm welcome, and promised to help the upcoming events. After the welcome speech, the guests and staff of the university were given a concert program prepared by the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports.
