The staff of the University of Abay unanimously supported the decision of the Congress of Nur Otan

At the XIX congress of the «Nur Otan» party, the first president Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to nominate Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev as a presidential candidate of Kazakhstan. Members of the party who supported this proposal approved K. Tokayev as a candidate running in the presidential election on behalf of the party. Teachers, staff and students of Abai KazNPU gladly accepted this news.

Presenting Tokayev`s candidacy at the party`s congress, Nazarbayev said: «I completely trust Mr. Tokayev. He supported all my initiatives and became a reliable partner». Kasym Zhomart Kemelovich has a reputation at country and abroad. Since the independence of our country, he has made an invaluable contribution to the prosperity of our young state, acting as a high-ranking official in the diplomatic service and in parliament.

Staff of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University unanimously support the candidacy of K. Tokayev and will actively participate in the presidential elections to be held on June 9 and are ready to vote for unity and democracy in the country.
