Rector`s meeting with the General Consul of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 8 May 2019 Abai KazNPU Rector Takir Balykbayev met with the General Consul of the Republic of Tajikistan in Kazakhstan (Almaty), Mr. Bakhodur Nazir, and the 3rd Secretary of the General Consul the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Daler Habibov. They discussed perspectives of partnership areas in higher education.

Rector Takir Balykbayev briefly presented to the honored guests the activities and achievements of Abai KazNPU.

The General Consul Mr. Bakhodur Nazir expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the rector for the training of highly professional staff. Mr. Bakhodur Nazir spoke about the intentions of partnership in training staff in tourism. The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, declared 2018 in the country as the Year for the Development of Tourism and Folk Crafts.

Moreover, Mr. Bakhodur Nazir intends on behalf of the Consulate General to initiate cooperation between KazNPU and the Tajik State Pedagogical University.
