Round-table discussion «Kazakh-Chinese cooperation: One belt, one Road»

15th May, 2019 Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation of Institute Philology and multilingual education was held a round -table discussion «Kazakh-Chinese cooperation: one belt, one road». Purpose of the event - consideration of topical issues on the international agenda of the day.

The meeting discussed the project «One Belt, One Road», which directly intersects with the Message of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev «Болашаққа бағдар: рухани жаңғыру». His instructions and ways to implement them in such important areas as education and culture became the main topic of round table discussion.

Vice Rector for Science and International Cooperation of Abai KazNPU, Academician Aktolkyn Kulsarieva opened with an opening address the event, noting the role of the issues raised in the education of young people. Head of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation Kniyaz Mirzoyev stressed that the international project «One Belt, One Road» is practical platform of modern Kazakhstan-Chinese cooperation and noted its importance in strengthening good neighborly relations between our countries in the future. Great interest aroused Professor Aigul Zhumabekova`s speech on the theme «Works of Kazakh authors translated into Chinese».

Also at the meeting with the report «Economic Development Strategy: One a belt, one Road» the chairman of the Chinese cultural center under ANK Edward Dia-Chunovich Jan.

Guests from the PRC and members of the ANK took an active part in the round table. In particular, the chairman of the Dungan ethnocultural center Voynce Abubakir and Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Almaty Nazar Balgimbayev.
