In Almaty, mediators advised all interested citizens

In order to promote the development of mediation in the field of public harmony and national unity, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Almaty held an action "Republican Unified Mediation Day" at the Auezov District Almaty Public Service Center. The event is timed to the date of enforcement of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Mediation" (August 5, 2011).

As part of the action, an Open Day was held, during which Assembly mediators advised all interested citizens.

The participants are the leadership and the asset of the republican and city ethnocultural associations, representatives of the Almaty city, district courts and the trade union, NDP "Nur Otan" in Almaty and mediation centers, employees of the prosecution authorities of Almaty, departments of the APK of Abai KazNPU and Eurasian Academy named after D.A. Kunaev, professional and public mediators and others.

"Today, 20 non-professional mediators are registered with local executive bodies, 13 of them are employees of the Almaty City Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. Since December 23, 2015, a mediation office has been operating in the "Friendship House" of the city, "said Akhmetzhan Shardinov, chairman of the Council of Public Accord of the ANC of Almaty. Next, the floor was given to the moderator of the event - a researcher at the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of Abai KazNPU Battalkhanov Bolysbek Zamanbekovich. He explained to the audience the essence, purpose and importance of mediation, as well as the stages of concluding mediation agreements and mediation procedures.

During the event, city residents interested in mediation assistance received answers to all their questions.
