Lecture course of Professor A. Kiklevich (Poland)
From November 3 to 30, 2019, students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education attended a lecture course by Alexander Kiklevich, doctor of philological sciences, professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland). The professor was invited to the department under the program of academic mobility.
A well-known scientist, who gained authority in the scientific community not only in Poland but also in the world, gave a course of lectures on the topic «Modern Linguistic Pragmatics». The listeners` interest in these lectures was caused not only by the fact that they reflect new trends in modern linguistics. The skill of a lecturer who can clearly state complex theoretical material and back it with expressive examples from the media, fiction, and folklore attracts an audience.
Live direct contacts with students who are invited for discussion created an atmosphere of creative scientific knowledge at the lectures of A. Kiklevich.
Alexander Konstantinovich held a series of scientific consultations for doctoral students of the department and on November 28, 2019 gave an assembly lecture on the topic «Modern Media Culture and Fascination». The consultation of Professor A. Kiklevich on the indexation of scientific publications was very useful to doctoral students and teachers of the department.
