Webinar «Kazakhstan-Russian experience in the organization of distance learning»

 

On April 7, 2020, an online webinar «Kazakhstan-Russian Experience in the Organization of Distance Learning» was held at the university in order to familiarize itself with the widespread introduction of distance education, with the participation of Russian colleagues.


The webinar was attended by the rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbayev, the head of the department of informatics and information technologies in the education of the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University Nikolai Pak, associate professor of the department of computerization of education at the Institute of Digital Education of Moscow City Pedagogical University Alexander Grishkun, as well as vice-rectors and heads of departments responsible for distance learning training, institutes and departments of our university.


The moderator of the webinar was Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai KazNPU Asan Satmyrzaev.


During the event, issues of organizing and developing distance learning, ensuring the quality of distance learning courses were discussed, a comparative analysis of the use of Zoom, Google Hangouts, BigBlueButton platforms was carried out. Experts also shared their experience using the e-learning platform www.bilimland.kz, and distance learning methods of STEM educational courses.
Presentations were made by the Director of the Department of Informatization of Education of Abai KazNPU Bakhytzhan Akhmetov, head of the Department of Informatics and Information Technologies in Education of KSPU Nikolay Pak, associate professor of the Department of Informatization of Education of Moscow State Pedagogical University Alexander Grishkun, senior lecturer of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Abai KazNPU Nurzhamal Oshanova.


In connection with the transition of Kazakhstani universities to distance learning, all teachers and students of Abai university were given access to electronic platforms based on distance educational technologies in accordance with the academic load, work curriculum, programs and class schedule. Instructions are given on the formation of the report. As a tool used video tutorials, independent online work, online courses, webinars and seminars.
