International web conference
«Kazakhstan is a country of friendship and unity»


April 30, 2020 The international web conference on the theme «Kazakhstan-Dostyk pen yntymastyk mekeni» (Kazakhstan is the country of friendship and unity»), dedicated to the celebration of may 1st - the day of unity of the people of Kazakhstan was organized and conducted by the initiative of Turkish language teachers of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation, the Institute of Philology and multilingual education SatbayGulnaz, Osman Kabadayy and Nurzhamal Kospaganbetova.


Second year students of the specialty «Foreign language:two foreign languages» participated in the web conference, they read poems and sang songs in their native and Kazakh languages: Ugli Аbdusattarova, Diana Karimova - in Uzbek, Diana Mendi Aliyeva-in Meskhet-Turkish, Madina Huseinogly - in Kurdish, Sayara Tursunova - in Uighur, Abuova Aruzhan, Zhuldyz Iskenderova-in Kazakh.Zhanagul Sametova Deputy Director of the Philology and multilingual education Institute, Yerlan Kasenov Deputy Director for educational work, D. Zhanagul Turymbetova Associate Professor of the University of S. Demirel, Nazim Shuinshina Associate Professor of the Department of Oriental Studies of al-Farabi Kazakh national University, Mehmet Ulmez., Professor and head of the Department of modern Turkic languages at Istanbul University, (https://cagdasturklehceleri-edebiyat.istanbul.edu.tr/tr/content/akademik- kadro/yabanci-uzmanlar), Oraz Sapashev PhD, Associate Professor of this Department and senior teacher of the Kazakh language and literature also participated in the web conference. Senior teacher Gulnaz Satbai was the moderator of this conference., Professor Aigul Zhumabekova and senior teacher spoke on behalf of the teachers of the Department; also they noted the relevance of the unity and friendship of the peoples of Kazakhstan.


Yergali Esbosynov head of the Department summed up the results of the international webinar, drawing attention to the importance and relevance of such meetings, which have an important educational value and call for patriotism. The participants of the meeting expressed their gratitude to their Istanbul colleagues. The organizers of the webinar thanked our teachers and students for their active participation.
