Freshmen of the Institute of Natural History and Geography: "My choice is Abai KazNPU"


On November 19, 2020, at the Institute of Natural Science and Geography of the Abai KazNPU, a gala evening of reception of freshmen "My choice is KazNPU" was held, organized by the student council of self-government. The first congratulatory speech was made by the director of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, Professor Kaimuldinova Kulyash Duisenbaevna. Guests of the evening Adviser to the rector on youth affairs Zhakauov Maksat Donesovich; Bekbenbetova Kazyna Asanovna, Deputy Director of the Department of Education, Social Work and Youth Policy, KazNPU; Dzhaksybaeva Zhanar Muratovna, senior technical secretary of the admissions committee of the institute for the 2020/2021 academic year; Chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs Dildabek Didarbek Zhumagalievich congratulated all freshmen and expressed their best wishes. Also, the floor was given to Bazarbekova Nursaya Amangeldievna, the first rector of the student administration, who in 2018-2019 was the dean of the Nurdekanat, and is currently a master`s student. In connection with the distance form of the educational process, videos were shown to familiarize 1st year students with the life of the institute, the interests of the hostel, student self-government Nurdekanat. Sametov Asan, a 3rd year student of the specialty Ecology, and Zhaksylyk Umida, a 1st year student, held the event at a very high level. On behalf of all freshmen, a student of the specialty Geography Batyr Aruzhan took the oath and received the key to knowledge. Among the freshmen were Ibrashova Adelina, Kuanyshbekova Aysel, Utemurat Aidana, who showed activity, showed their skills, danced, sang and recited poetry. Also, the director of the institute Kulyash Duisenbaevna presented letters of thanks to the most active freshmen. Adilova Khadicha, a 2nd year student of the specialty Chemistry-Biology, also took part in the event and recited poetry. At the end of the evening, Nurlan Tursynbekovich Manapov, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, made a welcoming speech and expression of gratitude.
