Republican scientific conference «Modern textbook and educational values»

On December 21, 2020, the Republican Scientific Conference «Modern textbook and educational values» was held. It was organised by the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre «Ushebnik» of the MES of RK and S. Demirel University.

Saule Abisheva, Head of the Russian Language and Literature Department of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, and Zinaida Polyak, Associate Professor of the Department, attended the conference.

The head of the authors` group of the textbook, Professor S. Abisheva presented the report «Typological links of the two national cultures in the textbook «Russian Literature» for 11th grade of the publishing house «Almatykitap Baspasy». The report, which was accompanied by an expressive and informative presentation, showed how the textbook of Russian authors includes references to Kazakh literature in each thematic section, which creates a general context of the global literary process and demonstrates the close links and overlap of important artistic themes in the development of the relationship between the two national cultures.
