Agreement between Abai KazNPU and Zhangjiang Institute of Fudan University was signed

On June 24, 2021, leadership of Abai KazNPU and the Zhangjiang Institute, a branch of Fudan University (Shanghai, PRC) met to discuss the prospects of joint work.

The purpose of cooperation is the creation of a joint innovation centre for research in the field of carbon neutrality and digitalization of energy, sharing experiences and expanding the scientific potential of universities under the project "One Belt, One Road".

The meeting was held in the format of video conferencing (ZOOM).

Rector Darkhan Bilyalov in his speech spoke about Abai KazNPU, engaged not only in the training of teachers, but also young scientists in different research areas, and noted the importance of development of scientific cooperation between the two universities. Professor Sun Yaojie of the Zhangjiang Institute presented a joint research plan on carbon neutrality and digitalisation of energy. The members of the research team from Abai KazNPU, the status of R&D and plans for cooperation were presented. Scientists from the Institute of Natural History and Geography and the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics will participate in the joint project.

Scientists from the Institute of Natural History and Geography and the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science will be involved in the joint project.
