Abai University is the flagship in the preparation of dual degree PhD teachers

Abai KazNPU, as the leading pedagogical university of the country, expands its capabilities in many directions. Some of the most promising, where concrete results have already been achieved, are consortium, networking and double degree programs.

Events in the global industry market are unfolding today in such a way that, when designing doctoral programs, first of all, innovative science intensity and the technological side are provided. In this mode, programs in pedagogy and psychology have been implemented for several years. This academic year successfully launched the educational program of doctoral studies in English «Management in Education». The consumers of the program demonstrate a high level of knowledge of a foreign language and practical experience.

The Abai Vern international program is being developed in conjunction with the University of Aix-Marseille in France, and doctoral students who are fluent in French are preparing to defend their dissertations in the Pedagogy and Psychology program. In June 2021, under the guidance of Professor A.N.Kosherbayeva and Professor M.Bruri Triono from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (Jakarta, Indonesia), the doctoral student G.K.Kasymova successfully defended the dissertation on the topic «Formation of students` cognitive competence on the basis of the e-learning education system».

The preparation and defense of the thesis was carried out at the Dissertation Council of the Abai KazNPU (in Kazakh) and on the basis of the Jakarta University of Indonesia (in English). PhD diplomas were awarded by both parties. Scientific results indicate the relevance of the research topic, its practical significance and special relevance in connection with the events of the pandemic and online training.
