KazNPU named after Abay had been visited by delegation of 25 participants from Peoples Institute of Lakitelek, Hungary in a period from September 7, 2011 to September 14, 2011. The purposes of the visit are development of Hungarian-Kazakh bilateral relations, bounded by common historical roots of two nations; study of Stephen Mandoki Konyr activity in Kazakhstan, and everyday life of Kazakh people in town as well as in countryside. The delegation was represented by Ongaysha Mandoki, MD Yudid Kisfaludy-Buck, Laszlo Lachine Wade and Rita Badea. At the first day of the visit the Roundtable discussion on the Hungarian-Kazakh bilateral relations and common roots of two nations was held. According to the program-stay the delegation has visited such cities as Taraz, Shymkent and Turkestan. During the visit, delegates have inspected architectural monuments and mausoleums (Aisha Bibi, Harahan Baba, Arystan Baba, Kozha Ahmet Yassaui), and ancient cities (Sauran, XII-XIV cc, Otyrar and Ordabasy), and also visited the historical, national and ethnographic museums of Taraz and Turkestan.
