Literary and musical evening dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the poet Mukagali Makatayev

On 10 February 2021, the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Abai KazNPU held a literary and musical evening entitled «The Legacy of Mukagali is the Property of the People». The event, which was held in a mixed format, featured a video clip from the life of the famous Kazakh poet, a skit called «Dialogue of Mukagali and Fariza», poems, and songs to his lyrics, accompanied by various instruments, were performed. The students of IMFI presented the evening with vivid impressions.

Director of Department on educational, social work and youth affairs Kazyna Bekbenbetova, deputy director on educational work IMFI Sherepedin Hamraev, head of «Rukhani Zhangyru» Centre Maksat Zhakauov spoke at the evening. They congratulated students on this date in the history of Kazakh literature and thanked them for their activity. The event ended with an award ceremony for the winners of the contest, also dedicated to the anniversary of M. Makatayev.
