New challenges and risks in the religious sphere and the improvement of methods and approaches in deradicalization of supporters of extremist ideology were discussed

On February 26, 2021, the Department of political science and socio-philosophical disciplines of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU and Institute of Philosophy, political science and religious studies of National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan jointly held an academic conference «New challenges and risks in the religious sphere and the improvement of methods and approaches in deradicalization of supporters of extremist ideology». The aim was to conduct an expert analysis of new challenges and risks in the religious sphere, as well as to improve and find new methods of practical deradicalization of those who fall under the influence of extremist ideology.

Prominent domestic scientists and young specialists spoke at the conference. In particular, Professors - Doctor of Political Sciences Yesenzhol Aliyarov, Doctor of History Asylbek Izbairov, Doctor of Philosophy Bakytzhan Satershinov, Doctor of History Ashirbek Muminov and others.
