Secularism as the basis of constitutional construction

On October 27, 2023, International University of Engineering and Technology organised a meeting for teachers and students of the Department of "Technique and Technologies of Food Production" and "Social Humanities and World Languages". The theme of the event was "Secularism as the basis of constitutional construction".

The meeting was attended by the teacher of the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law of Abai University, religious scholar Orynbekov Nurlan and the head of the centre " Ulttyk Tarbiye" Saparov Bakytzhan. The purpose of this event is to discuss and consolidate the concept of secularism in Kazakhstan, as well as the formation, especially among young people, important components of national consciousness: history, language, traditions, identity of the Kazakh people, national interests, interethnic tolerance, social harmony. All this serves the patriotic education of students.
