Scientific seminar "Political institutions as the basis for the development of legality in Kazakhstan: history and modernity"

On April 18, 2024, a scientific seminar "Political institutions as the basis for the development of legality in Kazakhstan: history and modernity" was held at the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU in Almaty. The organizers were the Institute of State History and the Scientific Institute for the Study of Jochi Ulus together with Abai KazNPU.

During the seminar, participants noted that political institutions in Kazakhstan form the legal framework, ensure its observance and application, and are responsible for protecting the rights and interests of citizens. The functions of political institutions are aimed at ensuring stability, order and justice in society.

The experts stressed the importance of promoting the principle of "Law and Order" in public discourse, voiced by the Head of State at the site of the third meeting of the National Kurultai. According to expert assessments, the interaction between the legislative, judicial and executive authorities, as well as the participation of political parties and civil society in this process, contributes to strengthening law and order.

During the event, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Sairov, member of the National Kurultai under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulmira Ileuova, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of KazNPU named after Abai Banu Narbekov made speeches. The moderator of the seminar was the director of the Institute of State History Nurbek Pusyrmanov. The speakers were well-known historians Mambet Koigeldiev, Gulmira Sultangalieva and Gani Karasaev, as well as one of the famous legislators Yerkesh Nurpeisov and political scientist Maral Kaliyeva.

The discussions were attended by the teaching staff of Abai KazNPU, scientists from the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, experts from the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other analytical structures of the country.
