Doctoral students of Abai KazNPU visited Al-Farabi KazNU

On April 2, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in the framework of the discussion of the program article of the First President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe», a solemn opening of the monument to the Eastern thinker Abu Nasr Al-Farabi and the VI International Farabian Readings was held.

The event was attended by doctoral students of the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU, Zhanat Zhanbaev, Bakittyzhamal Imanmoldayeva and foreign adviser of doctoral students, professor of Akdeniz University in Turkey Shahin Filiz.

Famous foreign and domestic scientists, experts from the near and far abroad, prominent public figures, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and foreign diplomatic missions accredited in our country, representatives of the media took part in the International Forum.

Opening the event, the rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Galym Mutanov noted the relevance and depth of scientific works of the great Eastern thinker Abu Nasr al-Farabi.

During the forum, Professor Shahin Filiz made a report «Al-Farabi - the leader of the Turkic Renaissance in the X century».

According to the results of the event, the foreign head of doctoral students of Abai KazNPU and doctoral students were awarded certificates.
