A doctoral students’ scientific seminar was held

On January 12, 2026, a scientific seminar for second-year doctoral students was held on the initiative of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methodology named after Academician S. Kirabayev. During the seminar, dissertation research projects of doctoral students enrolled in the educational programs 8D01701 – “Kazakh Language and Literature” and 8D02308 – “Literary Studies” were presented. In particular, doctoral student Nursaule Kylyshbekova delivered a presentation on her dissertation entitled “Theoretical Foundations of Developing Learners’ Soft Skills through Teaching Prose Works”. In addition, doctoral student Asanali Adilzhan presented his dissertation research on the topic “The Spiritual World and Human Ecology in Contemporary Kazakh Prose (2000–2024)”. During the seminar, the doctoral students reviewed the scholarly works of a number of domestic and international researchers and reported on the progress of their studies in accordance with their individual research plans. The faculty members of the department posed questions related to the presented topics and provided recommendations as well as scientific and methodological guidance for the further development of the research projects.
