Abai University scientist took part in an international conference on the history of Eurasia

 

Head of the Department of Ancient and Medieval History of Kazakhstan, Institute of History and Law, Professor Atygaev N.A. took part in the International Conference "History and Culture of the Peoples of Steppe Eurasia: Traditions and Interaction," held March 29 - April 2, 2024 in Kazan (RF). The conference was organized at the initiative of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the International Center for Steppe Eurasia Research. More than 130 leading scientists representing scientific and educational centers of Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, China, Bulgaria, Turkey, Belarus and Romania took part in its work. Professor Atygaev N.A. made a report "Kazakh-Kalmak relations in the XVI century." At the round table "Eurasian steppe empires: terminology and realities." The conference was organized at a high level, thanks to the support of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. Holding the Conference at such a large-scale level, as its participants noted, contributes to the further development of international studies, the creation of international and interregional studies in the study of the history and culture of the peoples of steppe Eurasia, the expansion of intercultural dialogue, a comprehensive and objective study of the peoples and states of the Eurasian continent.
