Seminar for faculty and students of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sport

On April 11, 2024, within the framework of the Decade of Science, the UNESCO Department of Pedagogy and Teacher Training held a seminar for the teaching staff and students of the Institute of Art, Culture and Sports of Abai KazNPU. The head of the UNESCO Department of Pedagogy and Teacher Training, Associate Professor J.T.Tilekova, made a presentation on the topic: "Implementation of sustainable development policy at Abai KazNPU" In her report, she elaborated on the history of the UNESCO Department, its tasks and activities. She spoke in detail about the 17 UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals, and also focused on SDG N3 Good health and well-being. Zh.T. Tilekova urged faculty and students of the Institute to actively participate in the implementation of the SDGs within the walls of the Institute and the university.

- Develop and implement awareness-raising programs and projects among students of the Society to promote health and well-being, including hygiene, nutrition, family planning, sports, physical exercises (promotion of sports, study of national traditions and modern experience of Kazakhs, leading to health, well-being and longevity).

- To create a smoke-free space on the campus of the Society.

- Develop and implement affordable and healthy nutrition programs for all members of Society, including vegan food.
