Tourist trekking «90 zhyldykka - 9 asu»

 

Ecological tourism is becoming very popular nowadays. Monitoring of the Kokzhailau Plateau visits in the summer days off this year showed that about 400 people on Saturday and 300 people on Sunday are on the Prosveshchenets-Kokzhailau route.

 

Hiking tours are really one of the best types of recreation for a person of any profession, of any age and social status. This is not only entertainment, but also a way of knowing yourself. Tours provide a solid foundation for personal self-expression of students.

 

On 29 April 2018, the first tourist trekking "90 Zhyldykka - 9 Asu" was organized at the initiative of the rector of the University Takir Balykbayev, in order to develop active ecological tourism among the youth.

 

The vice-rector on educational work and social development, Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, opened the event. He acquainted students with the basic rules of trekking and wished all participants a successful campaign.

 

Further, the chief instructor of trekking, an associate professor of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography Kairat Omarov, gave instructions on the safety and movement of groups in mountainous conditions.

 

Walking ecological routes to the mountains, lasting 6-7 hours, are planned every Saturday. The main directions of the routes:

- The tract Kokzhailau;

- Kim-Asar Gorge;

- The Almarasan Gorge;

- Hot spring of Kyugensay;

- Pass of climbers;

- Big Almaty Lake;

- Yunat Lake;

- Mohnhatka;

- Dam Medeo.

 

84 students took part In the first hike of the tourist tracking "90 zhyldyka - 9 asu", and conquered the peak of Kokzhailau. Ahead - new heights and new impressions!
