International Scientific and Practical Conference «Sadykov Readings-V: Actual Problems of Science and Education at the Present Stage»

On 26 September, 2018, on the eve of the 90th anniversary of Abai KazNPU, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Sadykov Readings-V: Actual Problems of Science and Education at the Present Stage» was held, dedicated to the 80th birthday of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of RK Tokmukhamed Salmenovich Sadykov, from 1987 to 2008.

Traditionally, the Sadykov Readings attract participants from different countries and universities. This year the composition of the participants was particularly representative. The chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of the RK, Nurlan Nigmatulin, the deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Seidumanov, the president of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Zhurinov, the deputy executive director of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, the member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe from the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov, rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian University Tlektes Espolov, deputy akim of the city of Almaty Arman Kirykbayev, known Kazakh and foreign scientists from Great Britain, Lithuania, Japan, Poland, representatives of the creative intelligentsia, relatives of T.S. Sadykova, the teaching staff and doctoral students of Abai KazNPU.

At the inauguration of the conference rector Takir Balykbayev said: «Today we are opening a jubilee decade dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the first higher educational institution in Kazakhstan. It is profoundly symbolic that the anniversary of our university coincided with the 80th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, state and public figure, rector-Tokmukhamed Salmenovich Sadykov»."

The first vice-rector of Abai KazNPU, Maktagali Bektemesov, read out greetings received from the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Imangali Tasmagambetov, Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Byrganym Aitimova and others.

At the meetings of the working sections, the conference participants considered issues that comprised a wide range of scientific and public interests. Sadykov. So, the main issues of education, pedagogy and psychology, youth policy were discussed. A separate topic of the discussions was presented by reports and reports devoted to the problems of historical education and the modernization of public consciousness. Participants of the conference also presented reports on the problems of the world economy and international legal relations, digital modernization of Kazakhstan.

The ceremony of laying flowers, the presentation of the cabinets of the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. Sadykov and academician N. Kelimbetov, the exhibition of books and decorative-applied works of the university students were also included in the conference program.
