Kazakhstan educational space: present and future


On November 22, 2019, a seminar was organized at Abai KazNPU organized by a PhD doctoral student Aibolat Nabidullin entitled «Kazakhstan educational space and the relationship between multilingualism and intercultural communication: present and future». The event is dedicated to young scientists of higher educational institutions of the country.


The seminar discussed the importance of trilingualism, its role in the life of society now and in the future as part of comprehensive changes in accordance with the language policy of Kazakhstan. Those present shared their opinion on the topic raised and actively participated in the discussions. PhD doctoral student of Victoria Victoria University, Chingiz Ordabayev, participated in the seminar with the report «The Impact of Trilingualism in Kazakhstan», PhD doctoral student of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov Bakyt Borankulova - «Kazakh translation of medical terms in the context of globalization» , teacher of the Academy of Civil Aviation Arman Shaimanov - «Trilingualism in Kazakhstan: this is a perspective and reality», PhD doctoral student KazNWTTU Lyazzat Bulekbaeva - «Multilingualism - a new stage of education», PhD doctoral student KazNU named after al-Farabi Nazira Saybekova - «The Impact of Multilingualism in Global Education and Language Learning», PhD doctoral student of SKSU named after M. Auezov Farida Salybekova - «Emphasizing the tasks of teacher training for the successful implementation of the trilingual school model», teacher of KazNAU Meruyert Sauganbaeva - «The importance of trilingual education in Kazakhstan». Also in the seminar were students of the magistracy and doctoral programs of the university, who shared their opinions and asked a lot of questions.


At the end of the workshop, a monograph by Aibolat Nabidullin and Chingiz Ordabaev «Neurolinguistic aspect of teaching foreign languages: innovative approaches» was presented.
