The article of the Head of State «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century» was discussed

On March 10, 2020, among the 1st-year undergraduates of the Department of Kazakh language and literature of Abai KazNPU, the scientific and practical center «Latyn» discussed the article of the President «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century» published in the newspaper «Egemen Kazakhstan».

During the event, undergraduates expressed their views on the article, especially their attention was drawn to the foundations of the formation of an intellectual nation. For example, Aimakov Bekzat said: «The legacy of Abay, the civilized worldview of the nation, moral education, culture are relevant today. This is a guide for young people», and Alibay Aisholpan acquainted the audience with the ten best events that are held in our country on the basis of the instructions of the President of the Republic. Kuandyk Guldana concluded her opinion about the article as follows: «The revelations of Abai, which have become the property of the world community, have shown that the Kazakhs are a people with a strong spirit, quick thought. Strengthening this is the responsibility of today`s generation».

Following the discussion, the best students were awarded certificates.
