International educational event «Ramadan - the basis of education»

On 4 May, 2020, teachers of the Chair of Oriental Philology and Translation at the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education - Professor Kulsun Abdrakhmanova and senior teacher Eleonora Kanseytova - held an educational event on the theme «Ramadan - the basis of education», organized by students.

The goal is to clarify the importance and particularity of the educational value of the month of Ramadan. It is known that during fasting, both the physical and spiritual renewal of the human body occurs. During this period, good deeds, caring and mutual assistance, and traditional respect for elders are encouraged.

Professor of Egyptian University Al-Azhar Ali Shaagban, professors of Abai KazNPU Knyaz Mirzoev, Aigul Zhumabekova, Gulia Alikhankizy and Farida Sultanova, head of the chair Ergali Esbosynov, senior teacher of Arabic language Raya Orazova were invited as guests and participants of the online event.

An important point of the event was the speeches of Al-Azhar University professor Ali Shaagban, professors K. Mirzoyev and A. Zhumabekova. In particular, they noted a great interest in the Arabic language and a high level of proficiency in students and expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event. The conclusion of the event was marked by songs, poems and a quiz in Arabic. According to all parties, the event was held at a high educational level.
